The Southwest Florida Regional Technology Partnership presented top honors to Arthrex, Inc. and WCI at its third annual awards ceremony, Thursday, May 26 in Fort Myers.

Former Disney Exec to Speak on Leadership & Innovation
The Regional Technology Partnership announces finalists for awards to be presented at its third annual ceremony, Thursday, May 26 in Fort Myers.
The Innovention Award is for a Southwest Florida company that has invented, improved or demonstrated an innovative and creative technology solution. Finalists are Arthrex, Inc., MediaBrains, Inc. and Surround Technologies, LLC.

CARTWRIGHT JOINS FGCU FOUNDATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS
>>Florida Gulf Coast University Foundation welcomed Timothy J. Cartwright to its 2010-2011 foundation board of directors at its December 2010 meeting. He will serve the board until 2014. Cartwright is a partner with Fifth Avenue Advisors, a firm he co-founded in 2006. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Wisconsin, and a master’s in Management in Finance and Accounting from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Economic Development Council Offers Free Training
Free training for individuals is available from the Economic Development Council of Collier County (EDC) thanks to a grant from Workforce Florida, Inc. Programs like FastTrac®, Economic Gardening, Mobile Outreach Skills Training (MOST) and Supply Point Proposal and Engineering Assistance Training (PEAT) will be available to 100 pre-qualified individuals.
