News - Impact Education a finalist for Innovation Program

The Software & Information Industry Association has named Impact Education, a provider of educational software and classroom support based in Fort Myers, one of 10 finalists in the national Innovation Incubator Program. Finalists in the program, which celebrates innovation and growth in the education market, will be highlighted from May 23-25 during the annual Ed Tech Industry Summit in San Francisco. Impact Education is being recognized for its SkillsTutor Mobile tool, which delivers K-12 educational content in reading, math, language arts and science on students’ mobile devices, including the iPhone and iTouch. SkillsTutor Mobile measures each student’s knowledge level, customizes individual instruction and reports results to teachers and administrators.
