TECHNOLOGY PARTNERSHIP SUPPORTS

COMMUNITY HIGH SPEED INTERNET APPLICATIONS

The Southwest Regional Technology Partnership has endorsed all applications by cities and counties for Google’s “Fiber for Communities” project.

According to Google, the project will “test ultra-high speed broadband networks in one or more trial locations across the country.”

We believe the Google project could be transformational, and that Southwest Florida - which is generally known for its sunny climate and sub-tropical tourism -- would be a welcoming environment in which Google and its advanced technology would have a high profile.

To our Partnership Members and Followers we encourage you to support us by sending the attached endorsement letter along with your application to Google.
