SW Florida companies recognised for their technology talent.

SouthWest Florida Regional Technology Partnership recognised local technology innovention and technology transformation at last nights awards dinner at WCI Communities’ Pelican Preserve Clubhouse.
The very talented Master of Ceremonies Mike Jackson lead the group through the awards ceremony and kept everyone entertained. The finalists for Innovention were winner Harvey Software, Inc., runner up DataWorks, Inc., and finalist Fourwinds Enterprises, Inc. For the Transformation award the winner was City of Cape Coral, runner up Collier County Sheriff's Office, and finalist Charlotte County Public Schools. Each of the companies were individually showcased for their technology efforts and winners received a very nice engraved award.
The Keynote Speaker, Dr Gene Landrum talked enthusiastically on his insites on innovation, creativity, and entrepreneaurship. Dr Landrum inspired everyone in the room with his thoughts on innovation and creative destruction. SWFRTP Members recieved a signed copy of his latest book The Innovative Mind. SWFRTP was also celebrating their first year as a professional organization whose goals are to develop and sustain a vibrant community of technologically diverse professionals, establish an innovation and technology cluster in the Southwest Florida area, and be a leading resource to foster success for technology-oriented organizations and professionals in the Southwest Florida. An award was also presented to a SWFRTP member whose has contributed to the success and groth of the mission of the partnership. Winner of this Partnership Award was Diana Walker, runner up Brooke Joseph, and Finalist Bruce Prezzavento.
