Warren Baucom
Lee County Economic Development Office
Warren Baucom is a Business Development Specialist for the Economic Development Office of Lee County. The Economic Development Office is a department of Lee County Government that works to attract new and diversified businesses resulting in high-wage, high-skill jobs; retain and encourage expansion of existing businesses; and improve the overall business environment in Lee County. The Economic Development office also serves as staff for the Horizon Council, a 62 member advisory board to the county commission on economic development issues. This unique public-private partnership is made up of 62 members from government, education, business and community organizations.
Warren joined the Economic Development Office in March, 2004. Prior to joining the EDO, he spent 10 years in hospitality management for a high volume restaurant concept. He is also a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in both Japan and the United Kingdom.
He graduated from the Coles School of Business at Kennesaw State University in 1995 with a B.A. in Business Management.
Warren serves as the Awards Committee Chair for the Southwest Florida Regional Technology Partnership. He is the President-elect for the Small Business Resource Network, Southwest Florida Chapter.
