Diana Walker is the CIO of publicly-held, WCI Communities, Inc., which specializes in amenity-rich lifestyle communities and high-rises. In this position, Diana leads the information technology team and collaborates with WCI’s executive management in the development of IT’s strategy, application design, development, production support, and governance. Diana reports directly to the CEO and has been at the company for 5 ½ years.
Prior to joining WCI, Diana worked for a privately-held, mid-sized dental manufacturing company, Hu-Friedy Manufacturing located in Chicago, Illinois. She was the Executive Vice President of Operations responsible for IT, Human Resources, Accounting & Finance, Manufacturing, and Distribution for both US and International operations.
In total, Diana has 30 years of industry experience of which 19 have been in various C-level positions as a EVP/CIO of: WCI Communities, Hu-Friedy Manufacturing, GE Capital Auto Financial Systems, Forsythe Technologies, and Comdisco, Inc.
Diana holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, where she graduated as the Valedictorian and a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting from The University of Iowa and is a member of the Beta Alpha Psi Honorary Accounting Society. Diana is a Certified Public Accountant with the Illinois CPA Society.
