The Southwest Florida Regional Technology Partnership invites students and employers to attend TECHmatch 2012 – an evening of interaction between students and leading area companies – Tuesday, April 17, 2012, 5:30 - 8:30 PM at Edison Collegiate High School, (Building T) 8099 College Parkway, Fort Myers FL 33919.
Recognizing that technology is integral to every part of business, TECHmatch 2012 features an employer panel discussion that will explore internships and regional career opportunities in STEM - Science, Engineering, Technology and Math. The panel participants are Shelly Osterhout - Computer Solutions of America, Stephen Carvelli - Chico’s FAS, Mitch Ruzek - Algenol Biofuels, Clyde Grant of South Fort Myers High Schoo, Richard Lewis of SWFL STEM Team and event host Dr. Brian Botts, PhD, principal of Edison Collegiate High School.
The program concludes with targeted networking between students and companies; and - new this year - a review of student Digital Design portfolios.
For employers, TECHmatch is an opportunity to set the pace for future employees. For students, it’s an opportunity to meet area employers and hear first-hand their experiences and growth plans.
